When looking at the schools saftey, Jenks seems to rank pretty low on the list of safe schools. According to some recent data, 222 incidents have occured in middle school, compared to just 14,225 incidents that occured in all of the state schools. The stability index for middle school for Jenks Junior High School reaches 78%, compared to the states 88%. Also, the mobility index is 23%, compared to the states 18%. Jenks doesnt seem like the best schools you could choose. Most schools have a school website, but Jenks does not, which makes it hard to see what it offers. This makes me believe that they dont really try to promote their school, and chances are thats because its not quite as good as other schools in the area.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Jenks Junior High School may not be the best school to send your child to. Its not the worst school in the world, but in comparisson to other schools around it, it doesnt really meet expectations. If you have the ability to pick which school you want to attend, I would suggest another school in the Pawtucket District, such as the Samual Slater Middle School, who is the winner of the NELMS spotlight award, and has recently shown off their athletics program winning the State Championship for Boys basketball. The community that Jenks Junior High is located in isnt too bad, but does fall slightly below average. The community has a pretty large amount of people who fall under the poverty level compared to the state and district, and it also has a pretty low graduation rate. All in all, Jenks will provide you with an adequate education, but there are schools out there that out do Jenks.
